Qing Dynasty vase, with relief decoration, in the shape of a flask, with a circular blue base.
In 'Fede e Civiltà' (Faith and Civilization) of December 1913, this vase is described thus: 'Vase of the K'ien-long period (1736-1796). The bottom is sculpted in waves on which two polychrome dragons with five claws, one of which in relief applied on biscuit, whirl vigorously in pursuit of the traditional red ball from which flames burst forth. The edge of the neck is decorated with geometric designs'.
