Kwame Mask
Mask used for funeral rites, made from a long axis, slightly curved on the sides. On the top is fixed a sort of crown made with gallinaceous feathers. Very spacious front. The face has the shape of a heart, with small and narrow eyes, protruding and open. Mouth small and square, and open.
The Kwame (Ba) live in the area northeast of the Lega, in the territory of Kasese, Maniema. Cult practices and initiatory rites are often in common with those of the Komo, Songola, Nyanga and Lega.
