Ban Liang (half liang) coin of the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC - 9 AD), bronze.
In the early years of the Dynasty the Ban liang (from the Qin dynasty) continued to circulate, which was replaced by the San zhu (3 zhu) and, above all, by the Wu zhu (5 zhu) by Emperor Wu, starting from 118 BC.
