Me-àkkà diadem, polychrome orange ornament for men, present in all Kayapò villages. Used without supporting structures, these tiaras are tied directly around the head with the same cotton threads that hold the feathers together. Also made for children, but only for aesthetic purposes. Generally the feathers used for these ornaments are those of the tail (jamy), of the wings (jarà), or down (pry). They take their names from the birds and the feathers used.
