Friday, Dec. 20th, at 9 pm at the museum, an evening with award-winning artist and activist Sahar Ajdamsani.
On Friday Dec. 20th 2019 we will host an evening with Sahar Ajdamsani entitled "Dreamy World". Sahar imagines a world of peace and humanity through music, prose and poetry, while fighting for the recognition of fundamental rights of women in Iran.
The award-winning artist and activist will perform for the first time in Italy with viola player Martina Surace and guitarist Luca Nobis. Sound designer Giovanni Amighetti.
“I am a warrior and wish peace and tranquility could be established in the world. I like everyone can freely engage in artistic work. I cannot tolerate injustice and keep silence. I am banned from doing a lot of artwork, for singing is forbidden to women in Iran... I want to pave the way for them so that other women, in the future, can easily follow their favorite arts.”
The album "Dreamy world" will be released in 2020, a collaborative effort of eleven different composers from India, Germany, Holland, Quatar, Spain, France, Australia, Greece, for eleven different tracks. The single "Dreamy world", which gives the title to the album, and is based on a musical theme by Italian composer Giovanni Amighetti. Sahar comes to Parma after her performance at the Neapolitan festival “Sacro Sud” directed by Enzo Avitabile, on a tour which will include Greece and France.

Concert tickets can be purchased online on our website or at the ticket office of the museum, open from Tuesday to Saturday from 9am to 1pm and from 3pm to 7pm, and Sunday from 11am to 1pm and from 3pm to 7pm.
