Visit and Ceramic Workshop - A Little House in the World

Workshops for Grammar Students

A journey that combines a love of discovery with a desire to create. After a guided tour of the museum collection, young participants will be able to rely on their senses to learn about how children live in the distant lands of Africa, the Amazon, and China.

The sensory experience will continue with a themed ceramics workshop. Using a simple and intuitive technique, children will create their own small bowl with a lid and color it using the engobe technique.

The bowl, seen as a container, becomes a caring and protecting object, within which something precious is kept. It thus becomes a "home" for a small, magical object dear to us.

Cost: €15 per child

Duration: 1-hour visit + 1-hour workshop (approximately)

The artworks will be fired in ceramic kilns and will be available for collection at the museum at a later date!
