Workshops for Grammar Students

Within the framework of interculturality, the hallmark of every workshop, the first element capable of involving children in a universal and sharing language is storytelling; it involves the enchanted eyes of the youngest children and the more critical spirit of older students.

At the basis of the workshops is the idea of experimenting with the narrative method as a form of expression and intercultural reflection with the classes..

The workshop thus becomes a place full of stories to create and recreate, to explore and discover, to promote listening and interpretation of one's own and others' experiences..

Objectives

Social-Emotional

  • Educating in imaginative, creative and fantastic language;
  • Educate to listen deeply;
  • Promote collaboration and exchange;
  • Know and recognize other contexts and ways of living;
  • Discover similarities and differences, commonalities and specificities;
  • Stimulate positive attitudes and curiosity towards the Other and other cultures;
  • Increase openness to acceptance and inclusion;
  • Socialize with the peer group;
  • Create a meeting point to discover the richness of diversity on which to build coexistence.

Cognitive and linguistic

  • Improve proficiency in language skills according to a path that goes from listening, to speaking, to reading;
  • Describing, narrating, understanding messages and speaking;
  • Respect verbal turns;
  • Understand and carry out work instructions;
  • Stimulate the ability to logic;
  • Placing facts and events in the space-time dimension;
  • Reflect on the narrative, linguistic and figurative aspects of the work done and stimulate sharing.

Visit - The total duration of the guided tours is 1 hour
and the participation fee is €3 per student.

Workshop - Each laboratory includes a first phase of a guided tour followed by manual activity.
The overall duration is of 2 hours maximum and the cost of participation is €10 per student.
