Visit and Ceramic Workshop - Fantastic Stories and Where to Find Them

Visits and Workshops - High School Students

Traveling back in time, when myths guided humanity, we will discover fantastic stories that, in some parts of the world, still influence people's daily lives today.

The splendid artifacts shown at the Museum thus become a tool for telling unique legends, rich in charm and values, from the Kayapò people of the Amazons, Africa, and China.

During the workshop, students will create their own stoneware mugs and decorate them with a mythological or fantasy motif using the sgraffito and engobe techniques.

The mugs will then be fired and glazed with a transparent crystalline glaze in high-temperature ceramic kilns and will be food-safe.

Cost: €20 per student

Duration: 1-hour visit + 2.5-hour workshop

This is a time-consuming process, so the work can be collected later at the museum.
